Research And Design Of A New Type Of Baby Carriage

With the adaptation to the two-child policy, China will soon encounter the fourth peak of population growth which will definitely bring opportunities to baby care product industry.With the information revolution and development of digital technologies, people's material living standard has been changing significantly, the relationship between people and products is going beyond material to spiritual. Product design which has been focusing on function and modeling is slowly began to meet users' spiritual needs and dynamic experience. This paper endeavors to design a new type of baby carriages with new modeling and customized user modes based on the analysis of the functions of current baby carriages in order to create a new kind of experience of baby carriage.Firstly, this paper will analyze and discuss the baby carriage market demand in China,and then analyze the user experience, man-machine engineering, humanized design, user requirements and other aspects. On this basis, behavior characteristics and psychological features of babies and parents will be deeply researched in order to to provide theoretical basis for the design of the baby carriages. Intelligent following system will be put forward based on ultrasonic localization and infrared obstacle avoidance, a single chip microcomputer intelligent control will be installed to realize the baby carriage to follow. On the other hand the baby carriages is very easy to use, comfortable, safe and bring new requirements to the design. The baby carriage design is based on the theory of ergonomics and the analysis of the behavior and psychological characteristics of the parents and babies,it is designed differently in the aspects of modeling, functions, colors and materials with the approaches of hand sketching and CG modeling. At last, conclusion and expectation will be provided.
