In this paper, we report a novel method synthesis end group modified 8-arm PEG hydrogel using as template synthesis two kinds of fluorescence nanoparticles. By changing different blending ratio of two kinds of modified 8-arm PEG and adding sliver ions, AgNCs can be synthesized in fluorescence AgNCs-PEG hybrid solution form or fluorescence AgNCs-PEG gel form and exhibit long time stability, which prove this modified 8-arm PEG hydrogel is an excellent gel template. This method has advantages like convenient, no need for reductant, high stability, and synthesized nano materials has good water solubility. The mechanism of using hydrogel template synthesis AgNCs could be determined by the synergistic effect of hydroxyl end group as reduction agent and the interspace surrounded by crosslinking polymer chain as a nano reactor. MoS2 quantum dots has been synthesized by this hydrogel template using (NH3)2MoS4 as Mo source and N2H4 as reductant to prove its universality.To discover actual use of those gel template synthesized nano particles,Synthesized AgNCs have been used for copper ion detection, fluorescence quenching mechanism is confirmed as dynamic quenching. Limit of detection is 50 nmol/L, and linear range is 5-100 ?mol/L with highly selectivity.Synthesized MoS2 quantum dots has also been studied by UV and fluorescence test to reveal its fluorescence capacity. It can also be used as fluorescence detection probe for TNT explosives detection. Limit of detection is 6 nmol/L, linear range is 16-700 nmol/L and quenching mechanism is static quenching.
