Sulfur lubricating oil additive is one of the earliest extreme pressure antiwear agent which was developed,due to the special properties of the active element sulfur make it has good antiwear and antifriction performance.However,sulfur corrosion make lubricating oil additive sulfur element itself has significant limitations in terms of use.So improving the tribological properties of lubricating oil additive sulfur at the same time,reducing its corrosive to the development and application of sulfur lubricant additives has important significance.In this study,using n-butyl alcohol,carbon disulfide,2-chloride ethanol,oleic acid and n-butyl amine,carbon disulfide,boric acid,propylene oxide,diethanolamine and so on,two kinds of sulfur-containing compounds has been synthesized:oleic acid ester alkyl disulfide generation and CNSB.On the structural,using Fourier infrared spectrometer and element analyzer analysis and characterization;The MRS-10 type a four ball tester on tribology performance were studied,Testing the maximum no card bit load in base oil(PB),friction coefficient,ground spot diameter(WSD),and copper corrosion performance in the different addition amount of oleic acid esters and alkyl disulfide generation and CNSB.The results show that the two substances are showing good extreme pressure antiwear performance.When adding mass fraction was 3%,oleic acid esters and alkyl disulfide generation CNSB PB value by 103%and 91%higher than that of base oil,respectively,anti-friction performance increased by 25%and 38%respectively,anti-wear per-formance improved by 34%and 34%respectively;Synthesis of two kinds of additives for copper corrosion performance test are:alkyl disulfide generation of oleate copper corrosion level 3 a,its corrosion resistance is bigger,cannot meet the national standard.CNSB copper corrosion level 1 b,less subject to erosion,meet the national standards.In addition,by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and EDS of the steel ball wear surface are analyzed.Add two synthetic lubricating oil additive sulfur in the surface of the steel ball wear more level off,at the same time in the process of friction composite additive molecular and chemical reaction generated by friction on the surface of the steel ball of FeSx and FeS04 chemical reaction film of low shear strength.At the same time also on synthesis of two kinds of lubricating oil additives for sulfur compound with research,and test its tribological performance and copper corrosion performance.Results show that the mass fraction of 3%of additives,the PB value was 100%higher than that of base oil,anti-friction performance increased by 28%,anti-wear performance improved by 36%.Copper corrosion performance levels for 2 b and reduce the alkyl disulfide generation of corrosive oleic acid ester.
