The use of lubricating oil is common,it is an important material of mechanical equipment and has a certain protective effect on mechanical equipment of high strength work,it has the extremely vital significance to improve the service life of the mechanical device.Polyalpha-olefin can be obtained from alpha-olefin which is polymerized by catalyst.Polyalpha-olefin is a kind of excellent base oil of lubricant with good properties of low pour point,high viscosity index and good chemical and thermal stability.With the development of petrochemical industry,the 1-butene resource is rich in China and the use of 1-butene resources is improve gradually.Synthesized lubricating oil from 1-butene to reduce the waste of 1-butene resource,opens a new way of using abundant 1-butene resources in China.Oligomerization of 1-butene with other alpha-olefins catalyzed by aluminium chloride to prepare polymer alpha-olefins was studied in this paper.The kind of long chain a-olefins,long chain ?-olefins dosage,the amount of catalyst,1-butene/a-olefins mole ratio,reaction temperature and the kind of complex were investigated.The oligomer obtained was synthesized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,IR and GPC methods.Study results that lubricating base oil with high viscosity index was synthesized when the optimum conditions were 1.0 wt%of catalyst,80? of reaction temperature,10:1 of mole ratio of 1-butene and 1-decene,n-propyl alcohol was used as complex,2:1 of mole ratio of AlCl3 and n-propyl alcohol,the kinematic viscosity of oligomers were measured at 40? and 100? respectively was 74.24 mm2/s and 14.08 mm2/s,viscosity index was 140.Metallocene catalyst has high activity for olefin polymerization reaction.In this paper,we studied co-oligomerization of 1-butene and 1-decene by the catalyst system of diphenyl silicon bridge(cyclopentadienyl)(9-fluorenyl)zirconium dichloride and methyl aluminoxane and synthesized high viscosity index of lubricating base oil.The optimum conditions for synthesizing lubricant were 0.65 of molar ratio of 1-butene and 1-decene,100 of mole ratio of Al and Zr,1.115mmol/L of catalyst,under the optimum conditions a high viscosity index polyalpha-olefin synthetic lubricants with viscosity of 335.73 mm2/s(40?)and 106.33 mm2/s(100?),and viscosity index of 365 was obtained.
