Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber(HNBR)is an excellent comprehensive performance rubber material which got by hydrogenation of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber(NBR)of C=C bonds.The HNBR not only preserves its original outstanding physical and chemical properties,abrasion resistance and oil resistance,but also good high temperature resistance,ozonolytic aging resistance and mechanical properties.In addition,HNBR is widely applied in aerospace,automotive manufacturing,oil drilling and so on.At present,the rhodium complex catalyst has high reactivity and selectivity for NBR hydrogenation but it is expensive and is not good air stability.Therefore,it is important that the development of a green or economy ruthenium complex catalysts exhibiting excellent selectivity and catalytic activity for the hydrogenation of unsaturated polymers.In this paper,ruthenium complex catalysts were prepared by chemical reaction and were applied in the hydrogenation of alkenes and NBR.The main contents consist of the following three parts:1.A Ru-based complex,abbreviated as Ru-DA,was prepared by using ruthenium chloride.The Ru-DA catalysts include Ru-PZ,Ru-MPD and Ru-EN.The prepared Ru-DA catalysts were characterized by 31PNMR,FTIR,1HNMR and EDS.The results show that the Ru-DA catalysts were successfully prepared by chemical reaction.2.The Ru-DA catalysts were applied in the hydrogenation of alkenes and HTBN for the first time.The Ru-PZ catalyst performs outstanding activity and selectivity in HTBN hydrogenation.The results demonstrated that high hydrogenated alkenes and HTBN were attained without crosslinking.Then,we discussed in detail that the effect of temperature,catalyst concentration,matrix concentration and pressure of H2 on the degree of hydrogenation.The hydrogenation results indicated that under optimal parameters,a degree of hydrogenation of approximate 90 percent.3.The Ru-DA catalysts were used for the hydrogenation of NBR for the first time.The results demonstrated that high hydrogenated NBR was attained without crosslinking.Then,we discussed in detail that the effect of temperature,catalyst concentration,NBR concentration and pressure of H2 on the degree of hydrogenation.The hydrogenation results indicated that under optimal parameters,a degree of hydrogenation of approximate 95 percent.4.The Ru-PZ catalyst performs good air stability.Therefore,it is important that the development of a green or economy ruthenium complex catalysts for the hydrogenation of polymers with C=C bonds.
