Hydraulic fracturing is an important measure for the production of low permeability oil and gas reservoirs, and the same time, fracturing fluid has become a hot spot in today's research. In the present study,cationic xanthan gum (CXG) was synthesized and two fracturing fluids were obtained and we did the interior evaluation about the two fracturing fluids.First, the cationic xanthan gum was synthesized by using xanthan gum as raw material and 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride as cationic etherifying agent. The synthesis process of cationic xanthan gum was studied by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment, and the optimum synthesis process was obtained and The viscosity of cationic xanthan gum was 138.09 mPa · s under the optimum synthesis conditions. The efficacy of the substitution was confirmed by many characterization methods like FT-IR spectra and 13C NMR. We also studied the rheological properties of cationic xanthan gum and xanthan gum solution and the performance indexes of cationic xanthan gum as fracturing fluid and the effects of apparent viscosity, shear strain, flow curve, viscoelasticity, viscoelasticity and viscoelasticity Temperature, salt tolerance, resistance to temperature, shear resistance, sand carrying capacity and micro structure. The results show that the properties of cationic xanthan gum solution are better than those of xanthan gum solution.Then, we studied the cationic xanthan gum / konjac gum fracturing system and the organic zirconium cross-linked cationic xanthan gum system respectively. We discuss the composition of the two systems separately and find that the optimum composition of cationic xanthan gum - konjac gum fracturing system was 0.6% of total sugar concentration, tne w value0.5%; The optimal composition of organic zirconium cross - linked cationic xanthan gum was 100: 1, the volume fraction of hydrochloric acid was 0.5%, and the concentration of CXG was 0.6%. And the rheological properties of the two systems were studied.It was found that the jelly formed under the optimal conditions showed the best gel properties.Finally, the cationic xanthan gum / konjac gum fracturing system and organic zirconium cross-linked cationic xanthan gum fracturing system were systematically evaluated. The performance of the two systems as fracturing fluid was investigated according to industry standards. The results show that the two kinds of cationic xanthan gum fracturing fluids are strong gel, which all have good resistance to shear resistance, gel breaking and sand carrying performance.
