Ethylene oxide sterilization is the mainstream of today's medical device sterilization methods,but ethylene oxide itself is toxic and is considered a suspected carcinogen.Electron beam irradiation sterilization for its easy processing,quick operation and other advantages,and gradually applied in the field of medical sterilization,but the polymer material would lead to change in material color after radiation sterilization.In this paper,the problem of non-discoloration of polymer materials was solved by adding antioxidant,light stabilizer and compound method.(1)The study of the addition of three main antioxidants 1010,1076 and 1098 radiation resistance found that adding 0.5phr1076,0.5ph1010 and 0.1ph101098 ABS color difference is the smallest,mechanical properties,thermal performance and other performance are great.The addition of secondary antioxidant 168 has better resistance to radiation.(2)The research of the main antioxidant and auxiliary antioxidant shows that 0.5phr1010 and 0.9phr168,0.5phr1076 and 0.1phr168,two kinds of composite system of ABS material color difference becames further reduced,the mechanical properties of materials and thermal properties change little.(3)0.5phr1010,0.9phr168,0.9phr622 ternary complex and 0.5phr1076,0.1phr168,0.9phr944 ternary complex system,the chromatic aberration of ABS is about 2.5,the color is basically no change,mechanical properties change little,The stability increases and the change of the glass transition temperature discreases.The scanning electron microscopy shows toughness fracture.(4)25kGy irradiation dose can penetrate 24mm thickness of ABS material,the tensile strength,impact strength,bending strength change is little(5)GPC test results indicate that,after pure ABS irradiation,the relative molecular mass becomes smaller and the dispersibility increases.The relative molecular mass decreases after the addition of the additive.(6)The results of the irradiation resistance test of the PE materials with the main antioxidant 1010,1076,1098,the auxiliary antioxidant 168,626 and the stabilizer 622,944,770 shows that the above-mentioned additives were no effective for the performance of PE materials.
