The color-match in the manufacture of the color sheets is very complicated. Although, the color of color sheets depends mainly on the quantity and proportion of the dye. Paper dyeing is a very complicated process; the results were affected by a lot of factors, such as the trichromatic and quality of pulp, quantity and type of dye, dyeing methods, the physical and chemical environment of dyeing and paper-making and so on. According to study on optical features of light-colored paper in this paper, a new color match algorithm was developed, from the computer color matching system of fabric dyeing. According to experimental results, a predictable outcome of the color matching software was established.In the first part of the paper, the influencing factors were studied in the dyeing process. Mainly from the beating, temperature, pH valve, contact time and so on, we study these factors changes, the color differenceΔE between them also will be changed. Therefore, when color matching, these factors must be remain stable as far as possible, in order to ensure the accuracy of matching algorithm.In the second part of the paper, the conditions were studied a variety of dye stain in the wood pulp, to achieve color matching under the best conditions. The results show that the optical technological condition for wood pulp dyeing with direct-red 4 BS are as follows: beating degree 49 oSR, temperature 50 oC, pH value 6.0, the contact time 45 min; direct-blue 5 B for the best conditions: beating degree 40 oSR, temperature of 45 oC, pH value 5.5, the contact time 45min; direct-yellow 2GR for best conditions: beating of 40 oSR, temperature of 40 oC, pH value of 6.0, the contact time 45 min.In the third part of the paper, the law was studied by monochrome and second color paper. The results showed that the amount of dye and K / S value increment to be a good linear relationship, in low concentration. Mixed dye dyeing, the interference problem was between them. When several dyestuffs are used simultaneously, the result of dyeing is different from that used one by one, and the appropriate modification towards the deviation is found out. So the accuracy of forecasting algorithm is to be improved by all the amendments.In the fourth part of the paper,the color-match software's functions were studied. The structure of software was also studied. In the fifth part,the usability of the software was verified. A color-match experiment of three representative colors of writing paper such as light red,yellow and blue was done successfully,which shows that the software is accurate enough to used in writing paper product line.
