The barrier layer of the breast prosthesis has been the focus of the study of the prosthesis shell material.Phenyl silicone rubber has greatly improved the barrier property due to the introduction of the phenyl rigid group.The lamellar structure of the montmorillonite lengthens diffusion time of small molecules in the matrix,so it also beneficial to the barrier property.In this paper,the design and preparation of high-performance silicone elastomer for breast surgery filling were studied.The work was mainly divided into three parts.1.Component analysis and performance characterization of prosthesis Sample ? and Sample ? provided by The Third Beijing Hospital.Understand the market of foreign prostheses commonly used materials specific composition,composition,and establish the small database of prosthetic materials.As a result,the main components of the prosthetic shell and the internal filling were polydimethylsiloxane.The prosthetic shell have weak point of mechanical properties.The tensile performance near the equator line is worse than that of the top and bottom,and the prosthetic capsule is likely to rupture near the equatorial line,which may lead to the leakage of the internal packing.2.For the exploration of prosthetic barrier layer,the octadecyl silicone quaternary ammonium salt is used as the organic modified intercalation agent for montmorillonite,not only use it to change montmorillonite of the hydrophilic and interlayer spacing,but also the use of its antibacterial property.As a result,the organic modification of montmorillonite is very effective,the interlayer distance is enlarged and the surface hydrophilicity is reduced.The mechanical properties of the MVPQ/OMMT composites are improved,especially in the tear strength.3.For the formulation of MVPQ,the amount of organic montmorillonite on the impact of barrier property,mechanical property and so on to explore.The mechanical property and barrier property of MVQ,MVPQ,MVPQ/OMMT composites,and prosthesis shell Sample I from hospital were compared.The results showed that the formulation of phenyl silicone rubber that is beneficial to the barrier property,and known the influence to barrier property of the organic montmorillonite,and the barrier property of the silicone rubber/OMMT composites could exceed the barrier property of prosthesis shell Sample.
