Supramolecular chemistry,bearing on the organized entities of higher complexity that result from the association of chemical species held together by intermolecular forces.Traditional supramolecular assembly used to study microcosmic supramolecular assembly,which includes molecules and nanoscale.However,there is a huge size leap between microcosmic building blocks and macroscopic materials.It's of great importance to develop macroscopic supramolecular assembly,treating as a bridge of microscopic building blocks and macroscopic supramolecular materials.Until now,most scientific workers realized assembly through random shaking to induce collisions between large building blocks and various non-covalent binding forces,such as host-gust recognition,hydrogen bond,electrostatic interaction and so on,which are single-binding interactions.Because of the poor scientific research of the force of interface-interface of multivalency interactions in macroscopic supramolecular assembly,challenges remain in macroscopic supramolecular assembly,which limits the application of macroscopic supramolecular assembly.This paper tried to solve the problem of "what kind of supramolecular force could be used in macroscopic supramolecular assembly".We made a tentative research of the condition of multivalency interaction in macroscopic supramolecular assembly and found the way to solve the dynamic problems of multivalency interaction in macroscopic supramolecular assembly:1.having introduced the biotin and avidin system which has specific recognition and bioactive molecules into the macroscopic supramolecular assembly,discovering that multivalency interaction had dynamic problems in macroscopic supramolecular assembly.2.having putted forward the strategy of "double-lock system",i.e.introducing the single-binding system CD/Azo and multivalency system biotin/avidin into the recognition layer together.Macroscopic building blocks assembled through CD and Azo recognition as the "first lock",providing a close enough distance and long enough time for biotin and avidin reaction as the "second lock".We carry out an in situ measurement method of interactive forces between the building blocks of the double-lock system.3.having expanded the double-lock system to electrostatic interaction and biotin/avidin system,which illustrated the universality of double-lock system.Double-lock system has realized the microscopic supramolecular assembly of multivalency interaction-biotin and avidin system through shaking condition,solving the dynamic problems of multivalency interaction in macroscopic supramolecular assembly.The double-lock system is of great importance for theory construction.At the same time,the introduction of biological system may further expand application of macroscopic supramolecular assembly in the biological area.
