An Impact Of Green Information System Implementation And Green Maturity On Organizational Competitiveness

Environmental protection has become a theme of social development,and with the expansion of electronic communication facilities,it has become the focus that the pollution of its operation and management process,so the implementation of green information system is paid attention by many medium-sized firms.Its development is relatively late in our country,but there are a lot of medium-sized firms have implemented a green information system,and achieved good results.However,there are still many imperfections in the process of implementation,so it is particularly important to evaluate the implementation of green information system.This paper is divided into four sections,the first of all is the description and literature review of the relevant concepts and theories of green information systems.Secondly,it presents research model and related assumptions based on the existing literature at home and abroad,designs the questionnaires of this study on the basis of existing scale of the foreign scholars,and collects a total of 208 valid questionnaires through field research and online research.Thirdly,it does the descriptive analysis,reliability analysis,validity analysis for the sample data were collected.Finally,it does the structural analysis for the model through the software of Smart PLS,and verifies the truth of the assumption by path coefficients and significant T-values.The results show that pollution prevention,product management and sustainable development of these three dimensions significantly affect the implementation of green information system.The implementation of green information system not only affect the organization's environmental performance and green image directly,but also affect those through green maturity indirectly,namely green maturity plays a partial mediation in the affection of implementation of green information system on environmental performance and green image.The environmental performance and image significantly affect the competitive advantage of firms.The results of this paper can play a certain role in the popularity process of green information system,make a number of observations to enhance the competitive advantage,provide a theoretical support and reference for the green information system management.
