Since it is short of oil resource and coal resources are plentiful in our country.The resource advantages were transformed into economic advantages through the clean coal conversion process.Because of its strong heat release and the difficulty of heat transfer,methanation reactor is the core equipment of the coal gasification process,and it becomes the focus of the study.Study on the distribution of characteristic parameters can indirectly reflect the chemical reaction within methanation reactor,which is of great significance for the realization of methanation reactor structure optimization and chemical reaction enhancement.Characteristic parameters of continuous internal distribution can not be measured directly.Using the computer simulation method can accurately reflect the internal characteristics of reactor parameters of continuous distribution.Under the cold condition,by means of numerical simulation,the bed in the radial and axial velocity,porosity,pressure distribution were obtained,and the experimental results and the simulation results are compared.The accuracy of the simulation results is verified.The effect of wall effect on the structure and characteristic parameter distribution of catalyst bed was investigated and the influence range of wall effect was determined.The effects of gravity,diameter ratio and particle size distribution of catalyst particles on the structure and flow field distribution in the bed were studied.Under the thermal condition,the profile of the temperature field,the pressure field and the concentration of the components in the fixed-bed were obtained by simulating the methanation reaction in the random packed bed.The effects of catalyst particle size distribution,diameter ratio,inlet temperature and velocity on chemical reaction were investigated.The effects of catalyst bed aspect ratio and the number of beds on the chemical reaction were investigated.The related conclusions provide suggestions for practical production.
