Bisphenol A(BPA)is a well-known endocrine disrupting chemical,which was detected in rivers because of its extensive production and application,so that global attention has been focused on its pollution control.Adsorption method is one of the most important BPA removal methods owing to simple operation,low cost,high efficiency and little secondary pollution.Therefore,researches on designing new sorbents is of current interest.POSS-based hybrid materials could be used as potential sorbents due to their large surface,excellent thermal stability and chemical stability,environment-friendly,tunable structure,and so on.Therefore,a series of organic-inorganic hybrid materials based on POSS nanoparticles were prepared and their adsorption properties of BPA were studied in this paper.The main contents were as follows:1.BPA imprinted hybrid sorbents were prepared by precipitation polymerization method using ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA)and octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(OV-POSS)as co-crosslinker,acrylamide(AM)and?-methacrylic acid(MAA)as functional monomer respectively,and BPA as template.Their physical properties were characterized by FT-IR,SEM and TGA,showing that POSS was successfully introduced into the polymer and the thermal stability was improved.POSS-based hybrid materials possess higher adsorption rate and capacity to BPA were evaluated by adsorption kinetics,static adsorption and selective adsorption.The adsorption capacity to BPA of imprinted hybrid sorbent was up to95% after 30 min with 1% POSS and AM monomer(1-M-A),and imprinted hybrid sorbent was up to 96% in 30 min with 5%POSS and MAA monomer(5-M-M).Scatchard analysis of 1-M-A suggested that there were two binding plots to BPA,and the maximum adsorption capacity were 240.35 ?mol/g and 440.08 ?mol/g.2.OV-POSS/MWCNTs was synthesized by OV-POSS and acrylamide modified MWCNTs via surface polymerization.Its structure was confirmed by FT-IR,showing that POSS was successfully introduced into MWCNTs.Its adsorption properties to BPA was tested by adsorption kinetics and static adsorption.The removal rate ofOV-POSS/MWCNTs was up to 97.5% in 30 min.The adsorption process conformed to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model,and the most important rate-determing step was external diffusion.3.Two kinds of POSS-based ionic liquids(E-POSS-PIL and A-POSS-PIL)were prepared by quaterization reaction with octachloropropyl POSS and bisimidazole as key intermediates.Their structure were characterized by FT-IR,SEM,TEM and TGA.Their adsorption properties were studied preliminarily.The structure of E-POSS-PIL were polygonal and A-POSS-PIL was spherical by FT-IR,SEM and TGA.The adsorption performance of E-POSS-PIL and A-POSS-PIL to BPA was studied.The results showed that E-POSS-PIL had higher adsorption capacity for BPA.
