Strip surface roughness is one of the important parameters of strip surface quality,which not only affects the strip deformation behavior in the stamping process and appearance after coat-plating,but also changes the corrosion resistance of the material,so the qualified and stable surface roughness distribution of strip surface is the key concern for iron and steel enterprises.The products produced by a domestic iron and steel company have been the ordinary food and beverage can mainly,lacking of the iconic products with high level technical content.Therefore,in order to seize the market share of domestic high-end products,the company actively expand product field.Powdered milk cans with high roughness are high-end products within tin plate for packing and the strict demands for stability of high surface roughness were put forward because of the high-end market positioning and special printing and coating process.Therefore,based on the actual technological project of the iron and steel enterprise,this paper developped the formation mechanism and control technology of strip surface roughness for two-stand temper mill systematically,taking 1420 two-stand temper mill of the iron and steel enterprise as the research object,taking powdered milk cans with high roughness as the starting point and taking into account other surface grade products.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,through the use of actual production data and experimental rolling mill,the influence of incoming material factors,flattening process parameter setting,roll process,roll distribution system on finished strip surface roughness were studied,and the main influencing factors on finished strip surface roughness were found.Secondly,the attenuation mechanism and prediction model of work roll surface roughness in the flattening rolling process were developped,formation mechanism and prediction model of strip surface roughness in the flattening rolling process were established,completing the quantitative study on the surface roughness of strip and roll for two-stand temper mill.Finally,the formulation of the incoming material surface roughness standard,optimization of flattening process,and optimization of roll distribution technology were developped,completing the control technology of strip surface roughness for two-stand temper mill in the flattening rolling process.The related theory was applied to production and practice,improving the control precision of the finished strip surface roughness,achieving good results,bringing economic benefits to the enterprise.
