In recent years,with the major users of the board from the low-end to high-end,the market for the quality of the strip products has higher requirements.The finishing process,which is represented by the leveling and cutting edges,is the most close to the finished product,and plays an important role in the quality control of the strip shape and edge.Therefore,this paper,based on the project of scientific research,combined with equipment and process characteristics of the finishing process,from leveling and cutting edge sections,will study on shape and edge quality of the finishing process in high grade strip.Firstly,aiming at the problem of strip shape in high grade strip,given full consideration to the process characteristics of high grade strip process,with six roll leveling machine as the research object,the roller cone problem as the key point,taking into account the effect of roll crown,roll bending,tilting roll and other factors,a set of suitable for the six roll leveling unit shape model was established.Then,according to the problem that only the edge height is used to evaluate the quality of strip edge cutting previously in the production process of high grade strip,considering the trimming process,buckles burr and cutting ratio influence on plate shape quality defects,the strip trimming quality function was put forward that realized the comprehensive evaluation of the quality of strip cutting edge.On the basis of this,a set of edge quality control technology for strip cutting process was established.Finally,the strip shape control and cutting edge quality control technology are applied to the production line of high grade strip production line of a company.Through the corresponding scene tracking and effect statistics,single wave defect closure rate decreased from 6.7% to less than 0.6%,symmetric shape defect closure rate decreased from 2.7% to less than 0.6%,the pass rate increased from 93.6% to 99.7% of the typical cutting quality specifications of products,users complaints rate for trimming quality fell from 7.4% to 0.5%.The shape and edge quality of strip is improved remarkably,and the technical level of high grade strip production is improved.Therefore,this technology has certain research value.
