As people on the lightweight and environmental protection requirements continue to improve and increasingly tense energy,vehicle lightweight development has become an inevitable trend,At present in China's wheel industry,the wheel development trend is large diameter,wide rim,high strength,lightweight,handsome and so on.With the trend of lightweight automotive industry,many buses,trucks have also replaced the aluminum alloy wheels,and the quality of forged wheels was significantly higher than the casting wheels,so large-size aluminum alloy wheel forging process research is very necessary.In this paper,6061 aluminum alloy as raw material,the large-size H-type aluminum alloy wheel forming process was studied and discussed.This paper first describes the main characteristics and development status of aluminum alloy and its 6061 aluminum alloy,introduces the characteristics and development status of aluminum alloy wheels at home and abroad,and expounds the significance and main contents of this topic.Followed by the introduction of the existing wheel forming process.The forming process of the existing aluminum alloy wheels was analyzed.Aiming at the characteristics of H-type wheel structure,the short-process forming process of H-type wheel with "pier-rotary forging-hot punching-hot spinning" is put forward for the first time.This process is not only suitable for H-type aluminum alloy wheels,but also for other aluminum alloy wheel production.Based on the process characteristics of rotary forging of aluminum alloy wheels and the working principle of rotary forging equipment,Deform-3D finite element simulation software was used to simulate the rotary forging process of H-type aluminum alloy wheel by numerical simulation technique.The relationship between the flow pattern and the forming force is analyzed.The influence of the parameters such as the shape of the blank,the initial temperature of the mold and the blank on the forging process is summarized,and the reasonable forging Forming process parameters.Which can provide reference for the follow-up test of H-type aluminum rotary forging.Then,using Simufact finite element simulation software,the numerical simulation technique was used to simulate the hot spinning process of the billet,The blank forming process was analyzed,and the relationship between displacement and spinning force.Erify the feasibility of the process route,and summarizes the influence of the parameters such as the shape of the wheel,the deviation of the rotary wheel and other parameters on the spinning process,and the reasonable spinning process parameters were obtained,which provided a reference for the subsequent H-type aluminum alloy spinning forming test.The results of rotary forging and hot spinning were carried out by using the process parameters obtained by simulation analysis.The H-type aluminum alloy wheel samples with good forming were obtained and the feasibility of the process was verified.
