According to customers' requirements,Yanshan University and Jiangsu Haipeng Special Vehicle co.,Ltd designed a new type of hot metal car which was articulated and had five axis.In combination with the problems in the design and debugging processes,this paper mainly did some research and optimizations on the key structures and systems of the new hot metal car.This paper firstly completed the design and introduction of the key structures of the hot metal car,including the power unit,gooseneck loading mechanism,rear suspension mechanism,steering mechanism,etc.,also completed the deaign of the drive system,suspension hydraulic system and steering hydraulic system,through the theoretical study and mathematical computation finished the key components' selection.The finite element analysis of the hot metal car's frame was carried out.The displacement distribution,stress distribution and the weak points of the frame structure were obtained by the static analysis.The frame's natural frequency and vibration mode was obtained by the dynamic analysis,as well as the amplitude and stress of the frequency response curves of the key parts.The dynamic performance of the hot metal car was evaluated,and in order to ensure safe driving,the range of the speed that should be avoided was deduced.The working principle and force analysis of the gooseneck loading mechanism were analyzed.In order to obtain the optimal solution between the hydraulic cylinder force and the platform lifting height,the loading mechanism's mathematical model which contains design variables,constraints and objective functions was established.Genetic algorithm was used to carry out the multi-objective optimization,the optimal installation size of the loading mechanism was obtained.Through the optimization results,the hydraulic cylinder got the minimum load while the platform got the maximum lifting height.The problem of the hot matel car's poor synchronization of the suspension system in the lifting process was analysed,aiming at the influence of the accumulators to the synchronization accuracy,this paper put forward a kind of hydraulic suspension system based on the accumulators' pressure compensation circuits.The synchronization of the improved system was verified through the combination of AMESim simulation and experiment to ensure the reliability of the scheme.
