Induction heating is the use of electromagnetic induction principle of the workpiece heating, with high efficiency, equipment footprint, heating speed, etc., has been widely used in industrial production and family life. However, due to the skin effect, ring effect and sharp angle effect of the existence of the use of traditional single-frequency induction heating power rail welding normalization can not achieve the purpose of uniform normalizing. In order to improve the quality of rail normalizing, this paper studies a new three-arm synchronous dual-frequency induction heating power supply. The structure and advantages of the power supply are analyzed in detail, and the circuit and coupling field are simulated. Set up a hardware experimental platform to verify the new three-arm synchronous dual-frequency induction heating power is correct.Through the analysis of the difficulty of the normalizing heat treatment of the rail welding, the present industrial dual frequency processing mode and research status are given. A new method of synchronous dual - frequency induction heating power supply in circuit topology and control strategy is proposed to meet the requirement of rail normalizing. Secondly, ANSYS Workbench and Maxwell are used to simulate the coupling field, which proves the excellent characteristics of the double-frequency process in the welding of rails. Then, the main circuit structure of the three-arm synchronous dual-frequency induction heating power supply is described in detail, and the working principle and scheme of the inverter part are analyzed in detail. Through the simplified calculation of the parameters of the composite resonant circuit,Circuit characteristics. Finally,a low-power hardware experiment platform is built to verify the characteristics of the new three-arm synchronous dual-frequency induction heating power supply. The experimental results show the correctness and feasibility of the scheme.
