Energy shortage and environmental pollution are increasingly restricting sustainable development of society.Solar energy,a kind of clean energy,has characteristic of sustainable development.With this characteristic,solar photovoltaic industry has been a domestic research hotspot currently and will become an important component of renewable energy in the future.According to the rare earth ion has the multi-level characteristic,so it can generate down conversion and up conversion luminescence under the excitation of the excitation light source.Take advantage of this conversion luminescence properties,it can use that the solar semiconductor materials can't response of light energy into usable energy.So rare-earth-doped silicate glass is of potential application value in solar photovoltaic cell.Therefore,researchers have tried to find suitable host glass in the process of preparing rare earth luminescent material.Most previous studies focused on low-phonon energy glass,such as oxy-fluoride glass,glass ceramic and microstructure materials,but high-phonon energy silicate glass has been less studied.In this paper,high-temperature melting method is applied to preparing rare earth ion Ce3+/ Sm3+/Eu3+-doped silicate luminescent glass samples,silicate glass single-doped and double-doped with Ce3+/ Sm3+/Eu3+ are used to prepare glass samples with down-conversion luminescence function,UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer is used to test absorption/transmittance curve of glass,fluorescence spectrophotometer is used to analyze excitation spectrum and emission spectrum of the glass samples,and XRD patterns are used to characterize vitreous state of the luminescent glass samples.Optical performance test results of glass samples single-doped and double-doped with Ce3+,Sm3+ and Eu3+ indicate that silicate glass both single-doped and double-doped with Ce3+,Sm3+ and Eu3+ can utilize ultraviolet light to emit visible light by means of down-conversion function.As a result,they feature good luminescence property.
