Study On The Full Flotation Technology Of Titanium In Vanadium Titanium Magnetite

There are complex processes,unstable indicators and other issues in the titanium recycling from the vanadium and titanium magnetite because of the complex composition and low titanium grade.This paper puts forward the whole flotation process of titanium in order to simplify the process.The iron ore tailings of Heishan iron mine in Chengde was selected as the feeding of titanium flotation.To achieve the goal of simplifying the process,the desulphurization tests,full flotation process conditions test,flotation machine process test,flotation column and flotation machine joint process test were carried out.The desulfurization test was carried out before the titanium flotation test.A flotation titanium feeding of S 0.085% and titanium 11.16% was obtained through one rough when the grinding fineness of-200 mesh was 65% and the pulp's p H value was 6.5.The titanium flotation condition tests of the grinding fineness,p H value and the collector dosage were carried out by using YS-1,GYB,ZL,GYR and RTi-139 as collector.The test results showed that YS-1 and ZL is better.Then the screening test of inhibitors was carried out respectively for the two collectors.CMC as inhibitor and YS-1 as collector were determined.On this basis,the titanium coarse concentrate with Ti O2 grade of 28.89% was obtained according to the flowsheet of one roughing and two cleanings through the diesel was added as auxiliary collector.Bsaed on the condition tests,the flow structure tests of the whole flotation process was carried out.And the flowsheet of one roughing and six cleanings was identified.Under the same flotation process structure,the process of first titanium flotation and then removing iron was determined through the comparison tests.In order to improve the grade of titanium concentrate,the flotation column-flotation machine joint flow test was conducted.The final titanium concentrate with grade of43.89% and Ti O2 recovery rate of 43.46% was obtained after the titanium concentrate obtained by flotation is removed iron by weak magnetic separation.Finally,the final titanium concentrate was analyzed and the influence of p H value on the process of floating titanium was analyzed.The results of this paper can provide some technical reference for realizing the low cost recovery of titanium in vanadium-titanium magnetite.
