The rotor spinning technology in China has developed rapidly since the 21 st century.The scope of rotor spinning fiber is expanding continuously,and the products are also used in various industries.According to statistics,the scale of existing rotor spinning machine in our country has been exceeded 3 million,one third of the global number.The ratio of the rotor yarn in the total yarn production is gradually increasing in China,and open-end yarn has become a significant part of the spinning industry.However,the domestic rotor spinning machine is mainly based on semi-automatic rotor spinning machine at present.In addition,there is still a gap in the automatic,high-speed and intelligent aspects compared with the international advanced level.The research and development of new materials,new process and new technology of rotor spinning component is not enough.Against this background,based on the retrieval and analysis of patent of rotor spinning,this paper wants to find out the layout and research status of rotor spinning technology both at home and abroad and study the developing trend of Chinese rotor spinning technology.Taking the rotor spinning patent as the research starting point,this paper first searches for the rotor spinning patent in State Intellectual Property Office,United states patent and trademark office and the European Patent Office,and then establishes a patent database about the rotor spinning for further analysis.Next,making a quantitative study on the patent application,patent authorization,applicants and the patent citation.The result showed that foreign rotor spinning technology is becoming more mature,and the rotor spinning in China is in the period of technical growth and it is developing rapidly,which has a large space for development.Secondly,Based on domestic and foreign rotor spinning patent literature,the rotor machines were classified in accordance with the organization of equipment.Next to comparatively analyze spinning unit,bearing and re-piecing patents of domestic and international from the patent number,patent type and patent content.The results show that the gap of the spinning unit and bearing at home and abroad patent technology is small,but the gap in the re-piecing technical is more obvious,mainly for the degree of automation and re-piecing quality are still different with foreign technology,so the joint technology research and development should be strengthened.Then,taking the re-piecing technology as main technical content,to study re-piecing mechanical mechanism,action and time control.Contrastively study on the rotor spinning re-piecing technology both at home and abroad in order to analyze the feasible tendency.As the result showed that,the development of re-piecing technology is researching and developing a re-piecing equipment which is combined both fully automatic and semi-automatic re-piecing technology with Chinese characteristics and every spindle is controlled singly.In the maintime,the fully automatic re-piecing technology also should be concerned,especially the control of time when piecing a new yarn,monitoring and feedback adjustment technology and yarn quality control.Finally,in the other technical fields of rotor spinning,the development trend of spinning unit is the optimizing the processing technology and materials,improving the structure of the unit and seeking for new materials.Simultaneously,to innovate multi-feeding and multi-combing technology.The main research and development of the bearing is to develop non-contact bearing and solve the problem of heat dissipation with high speed.As for the yarn of the rotor spinning,the pure spinning yarn largely converting blended yarn and fancy yarn,while the application of product is developing to functional direction.
