A new method to synthesize vulcanization accelerator N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazole sulfonamide(CZ)was studied in this article.CZ was chemically synthesized by the reaction of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole(M)and cyclohexylamine with certain amount of catalysts,such as copper acetate cobalt phthalocyanine and so on.For no waste water,this process is a green production route.It not only can save a lot of fresh water resources,but also reduce production costs,which have broad application prospects.This subject first established the range of explosion limit parameters of cyclohexylamine mixed with oxygen.Effects of the reaction temperature,stirring speed,water content,ammonia content,oxygen concentration,liquor recycling process parameters on CZ yield and purity were systemically investigated.The suitable parameters was as follows: the ratio of oxygen and cyclohexylamine vapor pressure can not exceed 1:1;reaction temperature of oxidation 40 ℃;stirring speed 600r/min;water content 30%;ammonia content 8% to 12%,or about 0.3MPa;In addition,it was shown that the reflux of the mother liquid would benefit for the fully use of raw materials as well as decrease of waste emissions.The determination of these parameters provided important theoretical basis for future industrial safety.The analyses of CZ sample by IR and melting point showed that it has a high purity.The obtained samples satisfied both the Chinese Quality Standard of Accelerat –or CZ and Quality Standard of Accelerator Santocure CBS of FLEXSYS Company.
