Belt conveyor is one of the main equipment for coal mine production and transportation.In the actual production,due to the uncertainty of coal mining,The belt transport system is often in no-load and light-load operation,which causes problems such as large energy loss and unnecessary abrasion of the belt transport system.By describing the causes of the problem and according to the energy saving operation theory,the system energy saving can be realized,the loss of equipment can be reduced and the efficiency of the business can be improved.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the optimal control of belt transportation system.In this paper,the energy consumption of belt conveyor is studied by analyzing the running resistance of belt conveyor,the theoretical basis and the way of energy saving operation are obtained according to the energy consumption relationship.By the theory of energy saving operation,the objective function of energy conservation operation of belt conveyor is optimized,that is,in the normal load and normal production conditions,reduce the belt conveyor to bring the maximum filling rate and obtain the concrete expression of the optimal control objective function.On the basis of the optimal control objective function,the paper analyzes the energy saving operation method of the belt conveyor without load and light load.Through the experiment,the feasibility of energy-saving operation is firstly verified,then the energy efficiency of belt conveyor is obtained according to the experiment.Aimed at the series structure and parallel structure of the coal mine belt transportation system,the relationship between upper belt conveyors and lower belt conveyors is analyzed by the material balance equation,that is,when the amount of transportation reaches a certain degree and the amount of transporting material in per unit of time reaches a certain extent,the product of the upper belt speed and the filling rate of the upper belt conveyor is equal to the product of the lower belt speed and the filling rate of the lower belt conveyor.By studying the optimal controlling objective function of the belt conveyor,the results show that when the load in a certain degree,the minimum belt speed can be obtained when the coal filling rate of the lower belt conveyor is the maximum according to the filling rate and the belt speed of the upper belt conveyor,and so on,the minimum belt speed control of the lower belt conveyor can be got.The energy consumption of the entire belt transport system is controlled by the energy consumption of all belt conveyors operating at the minimum speed.Finally,the method of optimizing the control of the belt transportation system is applied to the main transportation system of the Ningtiaota coal mine.In order to prevent coal spillage or coal accumulation,the specific process of Ningtiaota's main transporting system is designed by the filling rate and multiple intervals of the speed to get the optimized control.Finally,the system commissioning is completed,the results show that the optimal control of the main transportation system of the Ningtiaota has reached the design requirements.
