In recent years,with the environmental problem increasingly prominent,the issues of ecological security gradually have aroused the attention of more people.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China incorporated the construction of ecological civilization into the overall plan of "five in one" construction,research on how to evaluate the degree of regional ecological security,and protect the ecological security have become an important subject relating to the sustainable development of our human society.Taking Wuqi county as the research object,on the basis of introducing the theory and method of ecological security evaluation and the current situation of ecological security in Wuqi county,using the pressure-state-response(P-S-R)model proposed by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development(OECD)as the frame,based on remote sensing image,statistical demographic data and soil erosion data,this paper constructed the ecological safety evaluation index system which including the human activity disturbance index,the net primary productivity index,the average patch area index,the soil erosion index,the vegetation coverage index,the population density index and the land reclamation index using GIS and remote sensing technology.The weight was determined by judging the matrix combined with group decision in yaahpV7.0 software.And the study area was divided into 5012 evaluation units of 900m×900m grid by using Arcgis,and the ecological security evaluation result of Wuqi county was calculated by using the comprehensive model to integrate the multi-source heterogeneous data,and the ecological security situation of Wuqi County was further analyzed by statistical tables and map visualization.The results showed that:(1)The overall situation of ecological security in Wuqi area is in a general safe state,showing a decreasing trend from south to north.(2)From the different levels of the spatial distribution,the better ecological area is mainly distributed in the region along the river,while the poor ecological area is mainly distributed in the border area of Wuqi County and Dingbian County.(3)From the land use structure of Wuqi County,the areas which regard the forestland and grassland as the main land use type have the best ecological environment condition,and its ecosystem structure is relatively intact,the external pressure is small and the ecological function is perfect.The areas which regard the cultivated land and construction land as the main land use type have significant differences in the regional ecological environment level,and the landscape is broken,the external pressure is big and the ecological environment level difference is obvious.(4)As to the township within the county,the best ecological situation is located at Bai Bao town and Chang Guan miao town which is in the southwest of study area,its ecological security index of average surpasses 71 and almost has no ecological security area at level 5.While the worst is located at Chang Cheng town in the northeast corner,and its average ecological security index is the lowest,about 54.425,and the proportion of ecological security area at level 5 in this town is up to 4.461%.
