With the rapid development of the automobile,home appliances,food packaging and other industries,the requirement of the quality of cold rolled strip increasingly strict.Flatness is an important indicator of measuring strip quality,flatness control is the key technology of cold steel strip mill,a hot spot in the the field of cold rolled strip,also the inevitable choice for the production of high quality cold rolled strip.The paper is for the purpose of developing a set of flatness automatic control simulation platform,for testing the effectiveness of the control model and strategy.Therefor doing research on the flatness pattern recognition model,roll tilting and roll bending model,roll subsectional cooling model based on LabVIEW platform.The main research contents are as follows:First,the paper improved the "virtual rolling mill" developed by C++ language and realized the success of the LabVIEW platform call.Using LabVIEW and Visual C++ interface to complete the flatness deviation pattern recognition DLL file call.Realized the calculation of roll tilting and roll bending adjustment with the function and control of Lab VIEW software.An example was given to demonstrate the effectiveness of roll back control.Second,Using LabVIEW and MATLAB mixed programming to achieve the calculation of thermal crown of roll.Applying fuzzy theory to the roll subsectional cooling control system,a subsectional cooling control model was established based on the fuzzy control,and the heat transfer coefficient was used to combine the thermal crown model with the roll subsectional cooling model as the bridge.The effectiveness of the roll subsectional cooling control was proved by an example.Last,the "virtual rolling mill",flatness pattern recognition model,roll tilting and roll bending model also the subsectional cooling control model were integrated in the Lab VIEW programming environment,forming the flatness automatic control simulation platform.And the variation law of the whole flatness under different working conditions were analyzed by several examples.
