With the rapid development of economy,the waste production in our country is daily on the increase.The technology that using waste plasma gasification gas to generate power can achieve the purpose of harmless,reductive and resourceful waste disposal,but the particles in the gas have negative influence on the safety of the power generator equipment.Those particles must be removed before the gas combustion.In order to solve the problem,a new technology using wet electrostatic precipitator(WESP)to purify the gas is put forward in the article.Firstly,the physical and chemical properties of the dust were analyzed.Secondly,the gas discharge characteristics and the gas discharge law affected by the nozzle performance were studied.Finally,the dust collection experiment was carried out by WESP,and the dust colletion efficiency of dry and wet electrostatic precipitator were compared.The results show that:(1)The dust is mainly irregular bulk,its size distribution is board.It mainly contains such elements as Cl?O?Na?K?Ca?S?Si?Mg?Al and so on.The median diameter of dust is 0.508 ?m,and the dust resistivity is between 106~1011 ?·cm.The dust is suitable for the use of WESP.(2)The gas can produce stable corona current,which satisfies the prerequisites of WESP.The optimal corona discharge performance is obtained when the condition is that the polar matching is RS 4-tooth barbed wire with 480 C plate,the same electrode spacing is 300 mm.With the increase of the gas pressure,the corona current decreases;and the increase of CO content in the fuel gas is good for gas discharge performance,but the effect of CO2 is inverse.(3)Under the condition that water pressure is 0.4 MPa,the wind speed is 1.1 m/s,and the electrode matching is RS 4-tooth barbed wire with 480 C plate,the dust collection efficiency of WESP can reach 97.54 %.The dust collection efficiency of WESP is higher than the dry ESP.The application of WESP opens up a new method on purifying the waste gasification power generation gas in China,and the research results will provide technical reference for application of WESP on the waste plasma gasification gas purification industry.
