The press equipment is widely used in automobiles,ships,aerospace,wind power,electronic information,electrical instruments,household applicances,mold and other industries.The level of press equipment is an important indicator of measuring the country' equipment manufacturing industry level.Due to the emergence of new materials and the complexity of the product shape,there is an urgent need to develop a high value-added servo press machine with composite processing functions and has the ability of processing complexity materials and the materials which is difficult to be processed.Compared with the ordinary mechanical press machine,the servo press machine has the advantages of compound,high efficiency,high precision,high flexibility,low noise,energy saving and environmental protection,it becomes the future development trend of forging forming equipment.It may replace the ordinary mechanical pressure in some important precision manufacturing Machine,bending machine,screw press,hydraulic press,etc.,become the main stream of plastic processing equipment.In the beginning of this article,the movement and static analysis were made for the new servo press transmission mechanism,and the displacement,speed,acceleration at each moment for the key transmission parts were tested.What's more,the selection and accounting for the servo motor,screw,ball spline,screw bearings were made as well.It reduced the motor output power greatly by using proper designs.So that we can use ordinary medium-speed AC servo motor drive,it can greatly reduce the servo motor and its drive procurement costs.But the current domestic and international servo press machine mainly applied the low-speed high-torque AC servo motor drive which is very expensive.In the second part of this article,we made the finite element analysis and optimization design for key parts such as gantry fuselage,crankshaft,slider,upper and lower connecting rod,adjusting screw and working table which ensured the strength and rigidity of key parts that meet the design requirements for high rigidity.Thirdly,we made a study of the gantry press machine's rigidity from the perspective of experimental measurement.Made a rigidity measurement for the sample machine which its nominal force is 3000 kN,the actual measurement of the servo press machine's rigidity is 40% higher than the national standard closed mechanical machine,so it verified the high rigidity of the machine.At the ending of this article,we made a measurement for the energy consumption of the servo press from the experimental point of view.The test is between the servo press and the gantry mechanical press in the same nominal force.It shows that the power consumption of servo press is 20 ~ 60% lower than the mechanical press,and the energy consumption test was carried out under several different working conditions,so the result is very obvious for the energy saving effection.
