Aluminum-based mould has an important application in the field of mechanical processing.The surface often appears different degrees of wear,fracture and other failure phenomena in the process of application,which affect the efficient use and the working life of the mould.In particular,the surface adhesion degree in the process of wear failure seriously affects the surface quality of the product.Therefore,the reducing adhesion on the mould surface is an important measure to improve work efficiency and product quality.In this paper,based on the failure mechanism of the mould material and the wettingtheory,we are inspired by the special features of the lotus leaf and rice leaf surface,and discuss the problem of adhering on the mould surface.The nickel coating with a certain thickness was fabricated by electro-brush plating on the surface of the 7075 Aluminum Alloy mold surface,which makes the corrosion resistance of the metal the surface with nickel coating increase1 order of magnitude.The surfacemicrohardness can be increased from 96.4HV to 400 HV.Then,the surface showed strong adhesion.Therefore,the surface of nickel coating with well corrosion resistance is further processed by laser scanning in the test.The micro composite structure surface with distribution of the convex hull and the groove of the cauliflower was fabricated by combined electro-brush plating with laser micro processing technology.The microstructure on the special non-smooth surface can store more external air,and a layer of gas film is formed on the surface of the process,which can effectively reduce the direct contact between the solid surface and foreign objects.In view of the wettability,the degree of adhesion between the surface and the liquid material surface is reduced,which is beneficial for the demoulding processbetween moulds and parts,andreduce the frequency of the failure of the die surface.The material surfacefabricated by the combination of electro-brush plating and laser processing can not only be given special corrosion resistance and corrosion current density increased 2 ~ 3 orders of magnitude,but also provide a certain reference value for the improvement comprehensive properties on the mouldmaterialsurface.
