As multi-roll mills are widely used in production of ultra thin slab and sheet,it is important to take research on the mechanical properties of rolling mill.Through the reasonable way of adjusting the shape is conducive to the improvement of mechanical properties of materials,surface quality and geometric accuracy.Learning relationship between roll deformation and shape and take reasonable control measures on shape defects are helpful and guidable to the progress of the slab product.This paper first introduces the development history of multi-roll mill,described the research status of plate-like and plate-shaped control theory,mainly on e roll deformation theory and the theory of metal plastic deformation and flow.Considering the influence of roll neck displacement and lateral stiffness of metal,based on the rigid length of the roll and the elastic support beam I established the model by using influence function method about the elastic deformation of rolls system,built the plastic deformation model of rolling by variable method.Through the solution of the thickness of the two models of the overall coupling to facilitate the follow-up processing.In this paper,I used a width Sendzimir 20-roll mills as an example,substitute its parameters into the model equations and get the numerical results with VC++2010.After that,I used Matlab to analysis the result.Through the analysis of multiple parameters,1stintermediate roll,intermediate roll taper,2st intermediate roll crown,the roll gap crown of work roll,roll contact force,tension,rolling force distribution and lateral metal flow effect,by the pic plotted in Matlab software,the paper discussed the reasons of shape defects,and compare some related literatures to verifythe reliability of the model.It would provide the help for the actual production in the future.
