Study On The Preparation Of Salt And Alkali Resistant Building Bricks By Anshan Iron Tailings

Iron tailings is a solid waste produced during the process of iron ore utilization.And the accumulation of a large number of tailings has brought huge environmental problems and security risks.The resource utilization of iron tailings has been a problem of great concern to the society.China is the largest consumer of building materials in the world.Because building materials consumption is huge and it is faced with the lack of resources,using iron tailings to produce building materials can effectively solve the above problems.On the basis of the study of its properties,it takes Anshan type iron tailings as the research object to study the preparation technology of salt and alkali resistant building bricks.Through the molding water test and cement ratio test,molding water quantity is17.5% and cement dosage is 12%.In the test of fly ash content and aggregate dosage,the addition of fly ash can effectively weaken the erosion of sulfate and alkali.And the addition of aggregate can significantly improve the strength of iron tailings brick.Adding additives not only can enhance the strength of iron tailing bricks,but also can effectively improve the corrosion resistance of sulfate and alkali.Comprehensive test results show that iron tailings bricks can be made to meet the requirements of MU15 when the quality of iron tailings,cement,coarse aggregate and fly ash is 70:12:6:12 and the dosage of Ca Cl2 is 0.5%.And its erosion resistance of sulfate and alkali is good.The corrosion resistance of iron tailings brick is analyzed by SEM.The results show that the erosion of sulfate and alkali on iron tailing brick shows a synergistic effect of physical and chemical.Physical damage is faster and more serious.In addition,physical damage further accelerates the chemical corrosion.Using Anshan iron tailings to prepare the bricks for salt and alkali resistant building can not only realize the efficient utilization of iron tailings,save the national resources and improve the mine environment,but also improve the durability of building materials in coastal areas,saline alkali areas and industrial plants.It can meet the development of new wall materials in our country at present stage.
