Iron and steel enterprise remove a large amount of blast furnace slag which has the characteristics of higher calorific value in the production process.Blast furnace slags mainly produce low value-added products which cause many serious problems such as resource-wasting and pollution environment.It is one of the necessary measures to raise the utilization ratio of blast furnace slag to solve the environment problem and promote the enterprise to develop circular economy.The main composition of blast furnace slag and glass ceramics is similar,therefore it is an ideal waste to produce glass ceramics.Glass ceramics is a kind of polycrystalline material with crystal phase and glass phase coexistence which is basic glass after controlled crystallization.Nucleation process of glass relies on the heterogeneous nucleation and crystallization process need a certain crystallization activation energy.Addition of nucleating agent not only can induce heterogeneous nucleation,but also can reduce crystallization activation energy.So it is an essential additives in the process of molten slag preparation glass ceramics.The diffusion process of nucleating agent in molten slag is regarded as free diffusion of particles.To ensure the agent spread evenly in different viscosity molten slag,it is necessary to research the diffusion process of nucleating agent with different density and equivalent diameter in the molten slag with the help of Fluent software to make sure the mixture time.The conclusions through numerical and physical simulation are as follows:(1)Setting time is inversely proportional to the solution of dynamic viscosity,proportional to the particles of equivalent diameter.Dynamic viscosity is smaller,equivalent diameter is greater,the settlement is more completely,the concentration of suspended particles in the solution is more lower.(2)Mixture time of nucleation agent is proportional to density and equivalent diameter of the particles,inversely proportional to viscosity of the molten slag.Equivalent diameter of Ti O2?Ca F2 and P2O5 particles is 100?m which blending time is respectively 818s?1187s and 1518 s at 1385? of the molten slag temperature.
