Downhole data is an important basis for oil exploitation and drilling operation of actual operation.In order to improve the overall level of oil field and fulfills automation of oil extraction,the real-time information of oil wells is necessary to be monitored.Although the traditional method by using the cable to transmit downhole has stable signal,it cannot be used during production process and has higher requirement of cable.Downhole transmitter module transmits the data of downhole pressure and downhole temperature to receiving module by wireless channel.According to the data,oil well operation staff can analysis of oil well stratum situation and crude oil surplus reserves,so as to improve the efficiency of oil extraction.This paper studies electromagnetic wave theory and the attenuation law of electromagnetic wave in mediums,calculates the propagation distance of several frequencies of electromagnetic waves in water.On the basis of determined transmission spectrum,designs downhole wireless communication module based on CC1110 RF chips,implements the function of downhole data communication,data storage and wake up call,analysis and validates the feasibility of downhole wireless transmission at short range by using the electromagnetic wave at the frequency of 433 MHz.
