With the comprehensive utilization,deep processing,the expansion of the scope of application and improve its value-added extensive research of fly ash,as a new type of filler,modified fly ash will be applicated in the rubber field more and more widely.At present,the application of fly ash modification is generally too complex,single,expensive,thus limiting its extensive commercial application as a rubber filler.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a fly ash filler with simple modification process,low cost and low modification effect.In this paper,the modification of fly ash was carried out by means of silane coupling agent,titanate coupling agent and aluminate coupling agent by wet stirring,dry mixing and dry grinding.The results of infrared test showed that: After the modification,the organic groups were grafted onto the surface of fly ash,and the results of the determination of the oil absorption and the polarized light microscope showed that the silane coupling agent had better effect on the modified fly ash under the condition of wet stirring,Coupling agent and aluminate coupling agent in the dry high mixing conditions,the effect is good.Thus using titanate coupling agent and aluminate coupling agent compound dry mixing(CPWMFA)compared to silane coupling agent wet stirring modified fly ash(WSSiMFA).The effect of oil results showed that the CPWMFA modification is stronger than that of WSSiMFA.The coupling agent compound method is simple and the cost is low.Further comparison of modified fly ash and carbon black filled with natural rubber properties found: modified fly ash filled with natural rubber processing flow performance is better than carbon black N550 and N774,which CPWMFA filled natural rubber physical mechanical properties,aging performance Close to N550,better than N774 and WSSiMFA.It is suggested that CPWMFA is a low hardness damping product to study the effect of coupling agent combined with dry modified fly ash in rubber.The results show that the dynamic and static stiffness is relatively high and the damping performance is poor when the carbon black is filled with the low hardness of the natural rubber.The titanate coupling agent and the aluminate coupling agent compound modified fly ash partly replace N550 can effectively improve the flow performance of natural rubber processing,reduce the hardness and dynamic and static stiffness ratio,optimize the damping performance;Under the conditions of completely replace the N550,N774 when low-filling natural rubber low hardness damping products,its mechanical properties,aging performance and dynamic mechanical properties are better;accompany with N774 high-filled with natural rubber,in the low-frequency region,titanate coupling agent and aluminate coupling agent compound modified fly ash filled with natural rubber damping performance lose to N774,but when the frequency to 100 HZ,the compound modified fly ash filled with natural rubber dynamic and static stiffness is relatively low,damping performance.
