Research On The Pollution Transfer And Countermeasures Of Multi-national Corporation In China

In the context of global economic integration,multinational corporations have gradually become an important economic power,and created a huge economic benefits in the world.At the same time bring economic benefits,but also caused the destruction of the environment.As some developed countries gradually improve the national environmental standards,strengthen national environmental supervision,some multinational companies started polluting enterprises and the transfer of pollutants to lower environmental standards,relevant legal system is not perfect in developing countries.The behavior of a large number of consumption pollution input country’s natural resources,destruction of the natural and ecological environment,to the people’s life and health threat,will adversely affect the importing country’s economic and social development in the long run.Due to the coherence of the environment,the environmental pollution of a country will gradually become a global environmental problem.Therefore,how to prevent transnational pollution transfer has become a common concern of the world.In the nearly forty years of reform and opening up,China’s rapid economic development has made remarkable achievements.As the largest developing country in the world,China has become the main market for foreign investment of multinational companies.Based on the analysis of multinational companies in the investment industry distribution in China and the related economic theory,from the perspective of environmental responsibility of transnational corporations in developed countries,summarizes the experience of pollution transfer,to improve our environment and put forward some ideas,and further proposes to perfect the relevant laws and regulations of China.This paper is divided into three parts: the research of multinational corporations’ pollution transfer in China.The first part,from the connotation of transnational pollution transfer and micro theory of multinational corporations,the "Pollution Haven Hypothesis",industry transfer theory,using relevant examples of main forms of transnational pollution transfer,analysis of the possibility of pollution transfer from two aspects of theory and practice.The second part,through the study of multinational companies in the distribution industry investment in China,and China’s current implementation of policies and laws,summed up the status quo,the transfer of China’s current environmental pollution and the lack of policy and legislative defectsreasons exist.The third part,in view of our country is currently facing the problem of pollution transfer,through the analysis of the environmental liability of multinational companies,the transfer of environmental pollution from the experience of developed countries,try to put forward some policy suggestions to avoid the transfer of pollution in China.First of all,to establish and perfect the law and regulations on environment;secondly,to promote the construction of enterprise credit system;thirdly,to speed up the development of China’s environmental protection industry,environmental protection training talents;finally,strengthen international cooperation,improve public participation.
