Application Research Of The Embroidery Round Pattern Of The Qing Dynasty's Clothing And Accessories In The Design Of Modern Costume

As one of the traditional Chinese auspicious patterns,the group flower pattern is widely used in the Qing Dynasty,and it has a very important position in the auspicious culture of the Qing Dynasty.Its external contours are mostly round,which is a symbol of success and happiness,with profound cultural connotation.As a typical pattern,on the selection of the internal and external contour pattern,Tuanhua pattern includes the patterns of animals and plants,as well as text patterns and etc.To inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese auspicious patterns,we need to innovate the Qing Dynasty group flower pattern and use it in the design of modern costume.By analyzing the Qing Dynasty group flower pattern,the purpose of this paper is to reveal its cultural connotation,artistic characteristics and innovative application in the modern costume design.This thesis includes five parts.The first part analyzes the historical origin of the flower pattern and its cultural background.In the second part,by analyzing the inner and outer contours and decorative techniques of the floral pattern,the composition of the inside and outside contour of the floral pattern and its cultural implication will be shown.The third part explores the cases of how floral flower was used in modern clothing and accessories design of China and foreign countries,and summarizes its design method in the modern dress.The fourth part is the design practice.Under the premise of reserving the round contour or similar round and its auspicious cultural connotation,I try to redesign the inside and outside layout of the floral pattern,use it in the modern clothing design,and aim to find a new look of the floral pattern in the design of modern costume.In this paper,I hope that the relevant contents of the application practice of the flower pattern of Qing dynasty in the modern costume design can be further supplied,I can provide some advices for the future application practice,and I can contribute to the application of the traditional auspicious pattern in the modern costume design practice.At the same time,I hope that the research of this paper can lead to the rethinking of the traditional pattern design.
