The valve castings has important position in the foundry industry,it has wide application,and high demand,and the casting quality requirements are relatively high.As the complex valve parts is the main research tendency,it has broad application prospects.There is no systematic approach for the complex type of the overall valve parts.The complex casting core is traditionally hand-made and then adhesively formed,so it is easy to cause greater error.In this paper,the whole sand core is made by means of rapid prototyping,and it is used in the casting of complex pump valve parts.And it casts a new casting technology ——subsurface flow casting technology which can be a applied to the casting of complicated valve parts.It can not only provide a new way for the casting of complex pump valve parts,but also expand the application field of this new casting technology and test the applicability of this technology.In order to make the casting process more controllable,a series of water simulation experiments were conducted to investigate the flow field in the process of subsurface flow casting by building water simulation experiment platform.Analyzing the flow field stability of the pouring process under different conditions by observation.In this paper,the speed control in the rising process of the subsurface flow pipe is optimized,which makes the movement of the subsurface pipe more reasonable and reduces the violent movement of the flow field.In this paper,the multi way valve is used as the sample to make a detailed description of the sand core and the reasonable design of the casting.And it is tested and optimized by computer aided simulation.On the basis of the simulation,the casting was obtained through the on-site casting,and the performance and size of the casting were scanned and tested,and the precision deviation was mostly between-1.5~-0.5.There is no obvious defects in performance.
