With the increasing improvement of modern coal mine industrial automation, the coal loading process tends to be automated and intelligent. Coal automatic loading system can not only improve the loading speed and the capacity of coal transportation, but also reduce the problems appeared in the process of loading. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to improve the overall efficiency of the coal mine loading system.In this paper, Zhang Jia Mao coal automatic loading system is designed as the example of application and research. The general design framework of Zhang Jia Mao coal automatic loading system is expounded. The principle diagrams and structure diagrams of its power distribution control system, weighing system, hydraulic system and feed transportation system are introduced. The systems are designed by using AB' PLC and the corresponding ladder diagrams are given. According to the characteristic information of vehicle, the image processing technology is used to locate and identify the coal mine vehicles. The configuration and design of Zhang Jia Mao coal automatic loading system are carried out by RSView software in the host computer, the background design interface is also designed. The coal position control system based on fuzzy PID control is designed, which realizes the accurate adjustment and control.In this paper, the structure and principle of the whole loading system are introduced in detail, and the simulation analysis and some program logic are given. Through the system design and equipment debugging, the system finally runs successfully in Zhang Jia Mao coal mine. The system is easy to install and control and have high control precision and high cost performance. The results show that the loading system can improve the loading efficiency,and the stability and accuracy of the loading system meet the design requirements.
