The bed is an important foundation support part of the machine tool,and many important components of machine tool are taking the bed as a carrier for installation.In order to ensure the overall performance and machining precision of the machine tool,as the basic parts of the machine tool,the bed must have well anti-vibration and high rigidity.The traditional design can meet the requirement of use,but the design of the structure is often too conservative,the optimized space of the bed of the static and dynamic performance and quality is still great.This paper takes the QYJ-16 horizontal machining center bed as the research object,and at the completion of lathe bed 3D model building,milling force computation,mesh and a series of work,using the finite element method to analysis the static and dynamic characteristics.According to the results of the analysis to find the weak points in the design,and put forward two kinds of improvement methods.The first method is use the unit structure to improve the size and shape of clearance holes of the rib structure,reduce quality of the bed,but also improved the problem of the static analysis of stress concentration of the original design for the bed.This method uses grey correlation theory to complete the rib structure selection,and using the finite element software ANSYS Workbench to optimize the size of the clearance hole of unit structure.According to the structure optimized re-modeling of the original bed,and the finite element analysis results show that the bed under the circumstance of the static performance is improved,and the dynamic performance is basically unchanged,loss of weight 5.02%.Another method is to use the topology optimization method to find the optimal load path of the bed under loading conditions,according to the load path of bed redesign the layout of the rib,and thus to realize the multi-objective optimization of the static and dynamic characteristics of the bed.This method uses the compromise programming method to establish four kinds of integrated objective function of topology optimization of the bed,according to the four kinds of integrated objective function using the section of Opti Struct of Hyper Works software to topology the four types of bed structure,then according to the topology structure to complete the reconstruction of the rib structure of the bed.Finally,using the response surface method fulfills the key size optimization of the topological structure,the optimization results demonstrate that the static and dynamic performance of the bed has been significantly improved,and the quality of the bed has been reduced.The two optimization methods used in this paper can also be used in the optimization design of other key components of machine tools.
