As one of the most popular hot spots in recent years,selective laser melting is being more and more widely used in aerospace precision parts,biomedical joints and other machinery manufacturing.If the technology can make a big breakthrough in these aspects,it will play an important role in promoting the development of the manufacturing industry.Centering around the research on selective laser melting,the paper systematically studies three parts of equipment structure,key technology and path algorithm.The main contents are as follows:(1)In allusion to the equipment structure,the first part studies and analyses the some key systems.According to the parameters of laser in the laser light system and the theoretical analysis of laser beam expander,two different mathematical models of the scanning style are compared and the relation between scanning mirrors and coordinates of points is calculated.Structure of workspace is designed,including workbench,spread powder system,scraper and forming cylinder.Advantages and disadvantages of two different spread powder systems are discussed and the key role of auxiliary system is identified in influencing the forming quality.(2)In allusion to the forming qualities during selective laser melting based on scanner delay strategy,the reasons are studied and the principle is analyzed.By applying to software ANSYS,the finite element model is created and as the result,temperature distribution and stress distribution are shown.In addition,in order to prove the results,an experiment is done with the equipment.(3)According to the process of selective laser melting,a path strategy is adopted.Contour data is read and the error information is dealt with so that the 3D model can be represented.The size of contour is zoomed to reduce the influence caused by the beam diameter.The intersection point of contour and scanning line is got and a spot processing technique is used to get the right order of coordinate.The new software with independent intellectual property rights is written and the human-computer interaction interface is developed.In this paper,several valuable results are achieved by studying the key techniques of selective laser melting.The experiment shows that it can help improve the efficiency of manufacturing and the surface quality.The whole study in this paper provides the technical experience for the field.
