This paper takes a goaf of Shanxi coal mine as the research object,combined with the CSAMT and the Radon gas measurement to survey the mined-out area,through verification and supplement of the two methods to explore the depth and distribution of the mined-out area.On the basis of geophysical results to look for the reason of ground deformation,and to explore the factors of ground deformation,the next work is to build a modle of ground deformation which is in the study area.The main research work of this paper is as follows:1.By consulting literature,the coal mined-out area is divided into four categories: air-filled type,water-filled type,the surface has been deformed,the surface is not deformed.Thereafter,various types of marks of the gob are described.The two points lay the foundation for the study of the characteristics of goaf2.In this paper,the electrical characteristics of mined-out area and the radioactive characteristics of mined-out area are systematically studied by means of geological-physical model and numerical simulation.3.This paper provides basic geology,hydrology geology and coal characteristics for the choosing of geophysical prospecting methods,the supporting of processing data and making work plan.4.The lithologic characters,the resistivity characters of underground mining and the groundwater storage condition are put forward as the important basis and standard for CSAMT analysising.The gas-storage action,gas-gather action and the translocation of a goaf and it's fracture zone are proposed as the principle of radon data analysis.5.The data are processed and interpreted by professional software software.The abnormal distribution zones of the resistivity in the CSAMT methods is inferred as the possible distribution position of the goaf.The abnormal high and abnormal fluctuation zones of the radon concentration curve are inferred to be the goaf area.The location of goaf is determined by comparing two kinds of geophysical data with actual geological data.Four mined-out areas in the study area are found according to the above principle.6.In the study of surface deformation of goaf,the main types of surface deformation in the study area are found by statistical method.The deformation regularity of surface deformation in the study area was found from investigating.And then we studied the depth of goaf,the characteristics of Loess and the extraneous solution.Based on the above data,the reason of surface deformation was deduced.Surface deformation model of mined out area is established.Finally,we put forward measures to deal with surface deformation.The results show that in order to detect the goaf of coal mine by using the integrated geophysical methods,we can use the two geophysical methods to verify each other to restrain the multiple solutions of the data,and improve the accuracy of interpretation.We can detect the goaf more accurately than the single geophysical method,and we can provide better data support for analysis of surface deformation of mined-out area.The surface deformation model established in this paper provides a new model for studying surface deformation of loess-covered areas,which provides a reference for the follow-up study and the extension of similar geological problems.
