Ladle crane is an important machinry in steelworks,which is uesd for lifting steel ladle.When the crane is running through the track joint,additional impact loads are generated.Under the high load working condition,stress concentration regions of the crane girder are prone to fatigue damage,which may lead to fatigue failure,Usually,the fatigue failure occurs suddenly and result in accidents easily,Therefore,stress calculation and fatigue damage of the crane in the using process have an important significant to predicate the fatigue life of girder accurately.According to the crane running through different height difference rail joint In this paper,virtual prototype of the 480 t casting crane was established by use of the Solid Works and ADAMS,reproduction of the crane operation through movement condition difference on the uneven of the track joint,obtained under various conditions of the casting crane impact load spectrum.The simulation results of the impact of the ladle crane operation are compared with the the oretical calculation of the theoretical value of the GB and ISO,The results show that with the increase of the difference between the running speed and the height of the track,the simulation results are close to the ISO value.By using the SolidWorks finite element analysis software Simulation to calculate the value of stress and deformation of the girder crane under the action of self weight,then the load and the main stress field in 433 t car running under multiple conditions measured values are obtained by measuring stress superposition beam point and deformation.The result show that the maximum stress apperas in condition 4,the main car is located at the end of the main beam,the max stress is 122.1MPa.The maximum stress value of the beam occurs in the bending angle of the main web.These regions are prone to fatigue damage.Utilzing the impact of the simulation results and the finite element static stress analysis results,combined with the S-N curve of the material,according to the analysis of fatigue theory,the fatigue life of 480 t casting crane girder were estimated,get the minimum life in the dangerous position,provide the basis for the design and maintenance of the girder.
