In the chemical industry enterprises have a saying: "water is the blood of industry".Thus,the source of water is an indispensable raw material for modern chemical enterprises.With the development of economy,the discharge of industrial waste water has become one of the main sources of environmental water pollution in recent years.For example: waste paper mills,dye factory,electroplating factory,contains large amounts of harmful heavy metal ions and organic matter,will do harm to aquatic organisms,affecting drinking water,brings serious harm to human health.Application and development of a new low-cost adsorbent material is the most important for the treatment of heavy metal containing industrial waste water.Modified montmorillonite has the advantages of simple operation,high adsorption efficiency,little pollution,no corrosion and so on.It is a green and efficient adsorbent with broad application prospects.The innovation of this paper is that,without the use of the traditional solgel method,titanium is prepared by using titanium sulfate hydrolysis product as crosslinking agent.Step by step into a product,reduce the cost of production,improve the practicality of the adsorption material.It's structure was characterized by TG-DSC,IR and XRD analysis.The adsorption property and photo-catalysis property were also studied.The results showed that(1)the layer diatance is increased after modified,but the layer structure was not distroyed.(2)the optimum preparation condition of Ti-montmorillonite for the removal of methylene blue: Titanium sulfate concentration is 0.15mol/L;hydrolysis temperature is 70?;n(Ti)/m(clay)is 1.75mmol(Ti)/g(clay);Drying at 60?;(3)When Ti-montmorillonite is used to remove methylene blue in waste water,the removal rate can reach 99.91% at 0.07g/50mL;methylene blue concentration is 300mg/L;illumination time 1h.(4)the optimum preparation condition ofTi-montmorillonite for the removal of copper ions: Titanium sulfate concentration is 0.15mol/L;hydrolysis temperature is 70?;n(Ti)/m(clay)is1.75mmol(Ti)/g(clay);After drying at 60 ?,the calcination temperature is150? for two hours(4)When Ti-montmorillonite is used to remove copper ions in waste water,the removal rate can reach 93.59% at 0.4g/50mL;copper ions concentration is 10mg/L;adsorption time 1h.
