Ganjiang River is the longest river in Jiangxi province,is also one of the most important tributaries of the Yangtze River.The important river Ganjiang River is a typical red soil area,and the natural environment is complicated.Due to the unreasonable exploitation and destruction of natural resources by human activities,which have caused a series of adverse effects on the ecological environment.Research quantitatively study the structure,function and process of the local ecological environment.Which provide strong guarantee for accelerate the construction of ecological civilization,and realize win-win between the development of economic and social and the protective of ecological environment.In this study,the paper selects the Jian section of Ganjiang River Basin,and adopts tree periods Landsat TM/OLI images which are respectively acquired in 2001,2009,2015 and digital elevation model data(ASTER GDEM),with the support of GIS technology,this paper builds the decision three algorithm C5.0 to classify the image,which selects A total of 19 features from 3 aspects include spectral information,texture information and terrain auxiliary data according to text,and sets thematic map of land use/cover information for the three periods image.On this foundation,this paper combines with the statistical data,and references to the relevant literature and previous research results,and in order to prevent the lack of convincing single factor evaluation,selects the biological abundance index,vegetation cover index,water network density index and land degradation index to builds the evaluation system of ecological environments in the study area from "Technical Criterion for Eco-environmental Statu Evaluation(Trial Implementation)" according tothe actual situation of the study area,and then evaluates ecological environment of the study area in recent 15 years.The results show that the ecological environment of the study area has been in good state during the three periods,which the index of ecological environment respectively 67.6477,66.5177,70.5112 in the year of 2001,2009,2015.With the comparison of the three period assessment results,it is discovered that the ecological environment index dropped 1.13 from 2001 to 2009,which indicated that the ecological environment has become slightly worse.From 2009 to 2015 year,the index increased 3.9935,which belong to obviously better,and contrast with 2001,it is also increased 2.8635.Consequently the ecological environment of the study area is become better and better.
