Underground Coal Gasification(UCG)is one of the research directions of coal mining in the world.It is an important way to solve the traditional technical and environmental problems of traditional mining methods.It is a kind of sustainable development of the environment-friendly green technology.It will become China's clean coal technology research.China's underground coal gasification project is still in the industrial test stage.The project will face a lot of safety issues including gas leakage.The gas leak safety research is essential.Based on the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)software,this paper simulates and analyzes the diffusion ruleof gas leakage in the roadway,and puts forward the safety emergency prevention measures.In this paper,the components of the underground coal gasification system,the technological process and the gasification principle are analyzed.The physical and chemical properties of the gas components are summarized,and the toxic mechanism of the main components of carbon monoxide,hydrogen and methane is analyzed emphatically.Secondly,the risk analysis of the whole system is carried out to determine the gas leakage problem is the safety problem that should be paid more attention to the underground gasification of coal.At the same time,the analysis of the leakage point of the gasification area in the key area of gas production is provided,which provides data reference for the subsequent numerical simulation.Then,the paper summarizes the technical theory of CFD and the gas diffusion equation,and establishes the diffusion equation of gas in roadway.According to the actual gasification area plan and ventilation diagram of the site project,the physical modeling and simulation of the roadway near the # 1 gasifier were selected.During the numerical simulation,the factors such as leakage velocity and ventilation wind speed are taken as variable parameters,and the rule of gas diffusion is obtained.Finally,according to the simulation results,safety precautions and emergency measures are put forward,which can provide theoretical guidance for the safety of underground coal gasification projects.
