With the haze frequent happenning in the country,the domestic demand for environmental protection and energy conservation are more urgent,especially the car energy-saving and emission reduction is the most important aspects.In recent years,the "green tire" concept is on the rise in the automotive industry,so the development of high performance and low rolling resistance tires are becoming the focus of research and development of rubber industry.The filler play a vital role on the strength,rolling resistance and wet skid resistance of rubber.In order to develop filler with high enforcement and low rolling resistance,this paper synthesis syndiotactically 1,2-polybutadiene(sPBD)and the modification of silica as filler to preparation rubber with high strength and low rolling resistance,the main research content and conclusions are as follows:1.The development of new filler sPBD: the synthesis of a series of new phosphate compounds as donor for the iron catalyst.The effects of the donor's structure and polymerization conditions on the polymerization of butadiene were investigated in detail.Polymerization of butadiene can be efficiently catalyzed in the hexanes,and the sPBD with high 1,2-content and high crystallinity is synthesized.The catalytic system has a high thermal stability.The sPBD obtained by solution polymerization has excellent reinforcing effect on the butadiene rubber.Compared with the carbon black with10 wt% addition,the tensile strength is increased by 2 times and the elongation at break is increased by 3 times.But the solution polymerization of sPBD particles is not conducive to the dispersion in the butadiene rubber,in order to solve the problem of this subject,we synthesize the POSS as carrier to preparation supported catalyst for polymerization,and obtained the suspension of micron-class sPBD.Blending with the suspension and butadiene rubber,sPBD can get a good dispersion in butadiene rubber,even in the case of high addition of sPBD.The butadiene rubber reinforced by sPBD also greatly improved the tensile strength,100% tensile strength and mechanical properties compared with rubber reinforced by the carbon black.Moreover the rubber reinforced by sPBD also has lower rolling resistance.2.Modification of silica: In this paper,the olefin metathesis was used to synthesize the telechelic polybutadiene and the factors affecting the metathesis reaction are alos studied in detail.Then the telechelic polymer is used to modify silica,the modified silica partical is bonded with butadiene rubber,it can greatly improve the dispersion of silica in the organic solvent and butadiene rubber.This excellent dispersion,although slightly reduced the strength of the reinforcing rubber,but the curing efficiency,wet skid resistance and rolling resistance were significantly improved.
