Magnetorheological Elastomers(MREs)are a class of magneto-elastic smart materials which are composed of magneto-sensitive particles and soft elastomers.MREs have both advantages of magnetorheological materials and elastomers, such as rapid response, excellent reversibility and strong controllable ability.MREs are able to burden large strain and exhibit magneto-elastic effect at the same time, for instance the variation of magnetic stress, magnetic deformation and magnetic effective modulus. The 2-D or 3-D RVE of MREs are built from the perspective of mesomechanics in this paper.Mecro-static-mechanics and magnetic properties of MREs is studied in this paper from two tracks of zero magnetic field and magnetic field.By theoretical analysis and multi-physics coupling numerical simulation,MREs' macro-mechanical properties and magnetic properties are studied in this paper. The main research contents are as follows:1.Mechanical properties of isotropic MREs under non-magnetic field are studied through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.Theoretical analysis is based on homogenization methods, such as Eshelby's theory and Mori-Tanaka method;meanwhile numerical simulation is based on Micro-mechanics FEM theory.2.Based on the magnetic dipole theory,magneto-mechanical properties and magnet properties of MREs with chained particles are studied from perspective of theoretical. It includes changes of modulus under work of tension, compression and shear.3.The magnetic sheet's magnetostriction and MREs' of mangneto-deformation are studied in this paper by multi-physics coupling numerical simulation software.4.The 2-D RVE of isotropic MREs with different volume fractions and particle-chained MREs are built in this paper.Magneto-mechanical properties and magnetic properties of MREs are studied and simulated by magneto-elastic coupling software.Magnetic induced modulus, magnetic force and magnetic energy are studied in conditions of tension, compression and shear.
