Based on the stated background and significance,the separation of coal under the wind and torsional oscillation in the vibrated spiral helix bed is conduted in this thesis.Firstly the development status of major dry coal preparation techniques and equipments is reviewd,and then the previous research findings of vibrated spiral dry separator are summarized.In addition,software named EDEM(Expert in Discrete Element Method)and BP neural network are introduced.Meanwhile the multi-factor nonlinear model is established between the separation results and separation parameters.EDEM-Fluent coupled is applied to the study of the device for the first time aiming at the separation performance and the separation mechanismFirstly,the dynamic model of vibrated spiral dry separator is established in this thesis.The calculation formula and influential factors of vertical amplitude and torsional amplitude is put forward respectively,which provide a theoretical support for subsequent simulation experiment.;Then 3D model of vibrated spiral dry separator is built by using a kind of 3D modeling software named SolidWorks.Finally,multi-factor simulation experiment is finished by EDEM.;3D model of material particles is created based on the real particles,providing a exact physical model.for the subsequent simulation experiment.According to the built-in operation order of EDEM namely Creator,Simulator and Analyst,all the operation parameter settlings and operation steps are finished.The single factor simulation experiment of sorting laps is done,gettiing the maximum of the Qc of clean coal when the value of sorting lap is four.The correlation analys is of five main influence factors of separation effect is done in the paper,Hereafter the simulation is conduted and required datas and diagarams are obtained.;Getting the maximum of the Qc of clean coal is 65.39% and corresponding frequency is 35 Hz,screw pitchis 350 mm,vertical amplitude is 2.00 mm,torsional amplitude is 0.14;Using MATLAB2012 b vibration amplitude,horizontal frequency,vertical amplitude,pitch,radial Angle,and the result of the separation between the multivariate nonlinear model,and get the corresponding polynomial;By using the software of ICEM to mesh the vibration spiral dry separator and set up corresponding particle phase in EDEM simulation parameters,meanwhile set up the fluid parameters in Fluent.The study of EDEM-Fluent coupling found that the introduction of the wind is great importance to avoid fine particles segregationThe vibration frequency and sorting physical test is completed under the same condition number of laps.The simulation test and physical test results is in the range of allowable error,proving the reliability of the simulation test;It is explored that the influence of the size of the exciting force to the sorting result.At last it is in accordance with vibration dynamic mechanics model of the spiral dry separation effect of vibration force.
