In recently years,with the rapid development of Chinese economy air pollution problem is becoming more and more serious,and smoggy weather frequently occurs.Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)as an important cause of haze has been widely concerned,and mentioned in air pollution prevention and control of Chinese 13 th Five-Year plan.Petrochemical industry VOCs emission is an important source of industrial pollution.The estimation of VOCs emissions from petrochemical industry wastewater is difficult,because of it’s a complex composition with physical and chemical reactions.So the VOCs emission estimation and optimization by WATER9 and the self-emission factor are researched in this study,which shows:(1)The total of 10 sets of wastewater treatment equipment’s VOCs emissions estimated by WATER9 is 2158.97t/a without covering,of which 1#,2#,oily and oxidized wastewater treatment equipment’s emissions accounted for more than 99%.In addition,the values of aeration or mixing wastewater tanks are obviously higher than secondary clarifiers.(2)The equalization and aeration tanks of the WATER9 are optimized by the measured results,shows that the relative error between the estimated results and the measured results is in the range of-7~7%.And the optimization result 1179.98t/a of the enterprise wastewater treatment plant are feasible because of the lower relative errors;(3)In this paper,the factors of the enterprise’s wastewater treatment equipment’s are calculated in the range of 0.001 ~ 0.239 kg/m3,and the plant self-emission factor 0.021 kg/m3 is practicality.
