Cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column is a kind of column separation equipment,which can be used in metal or non-metallic mineral separation and oil-water separation.In the application process,the maximum inflating volume of cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column is limited by the flotation column circulation volume,which cannot be controlled separately and then consume more energy on the circulating pump.It is creative to change the bubble generator of selfpriming into a microporous ceramic bubble generator based on altering the aeration mode.A kind of inflatable cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column was designed to improve the aeration mode of the cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column.The aeration performance and flotation test on inflatable cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column were studied and conducted.The effects of inflating volume,circulation volume and foaming agent dosage on gas holdup and bubble size were studied.The results showed that the gas holdup of flotation column and bubble diameter increased with the increase of the inflating volume.Under the same condition,these parameters would do the opposite thing with increase of the circulation volume.For the same frother with increase of concentration,the gas holdup increases and the bubble diameter decreases.When the frother concentration increases to a certain extent,gas holdup is no longer changed.And for different frother,the range of gas holdup and bubble diameter is different.The optimum experimental conditions for determining a roughing process : the grinding fineness is-0.074 mm,the content is 91.76%,the pulp concentration is 20%,the amount of collector diesel is 2200g/t,the amount of foaming agent pine oil is 400g/t,the circulation volume is 3200ml/min and the inflating volume is 0.10m3/h.In the case of fixed carbon content of graphite ore 10.58%,after a rough flotation can get a fixed carbon content of 30.97%,75.13% fixed carbon recovery of graphite concentrate,and the inflatable cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column equipment operation and production is constant.Under the optimal conditions,the flotation machine was able to obtain graphite concentrate with a fixed carbon content of 28.06% and recovery rate of 70.35% by one flotation.The traditional cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column was able to obtain graphite concentrate with a fixed carbon content of 30.76% and recovery rate of 75.43% by one flotation.The inflatable cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column is better than the flotation machine in the fixed carbon content and recovery rate of the concentrate,and the required inflating volum is less than 0.10m3/h.Compared with traditional cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column,the required circulation volume is lower 800ml/min and the consumption of frother is less 100 g/t compared with the same flotation effect.
