Study On The Evaluation And Influencing Factors Of Green Growth In Jiangsu

Under the background that the growth of the economy slowdown,economy structure upgrading and development lead to innovation,we have to face to the shortage of resources and the deterioration of the ecological environment.In the meantime,growing numbers of countries and organizations regard green growth as the important task of development and aware of the significance of green growth.Provinces and cities of China have launched a "Green New Deal" competition for the overall interests of the country and stay initiative in the future development.As for provinces,Jiangsu playing the role of one of the most developed province of China calling for "Green Jiangsu".As for cities,China's first eco cloud was raised by Zhenjiang city;Nantong city carried out “Environmental Audit” to ask leaders to protect the environment.All these acts play a positive role on the promotion of green growth.The effect of green growth in Jiangsu need to be measured and evaluated by concrete index system;empirical study need to be carried out to find influencing factors which promote or inhibit green growth.Hence,this paper select the level of green growth in Jiangsu as the object of the research.Then,the paper coordinate literatures including four aspects,the connotation of green growth,the construction of index system,the measurement and evaluation of green growth and the influencing factors of green growth.With that,an evaluation index system of green growth was built combined with the DPSIR model to measure and evaluate the level of green growth in Jiangsu province and 13 cities.Finally,the paper applied multivariate statistical analysis to study the influencing factors of green growth in Jiangsu.Some suggestions were proposed according to the conclusions of the research.The main results of this paper are as follows:First of all,the present situation of green growth in Jiangsu province was studied in this paper.Under the new situation of economic development,the level of economic output of Jiangsu is high relatively,economic structure presents new breakthroughs,the level of coordinated development of urban and rural areas and the overall level of regional development significantly improved,index of residents happiness also improved.However,the relationship between economic growth and energy consumption and the environment are in a state of relative decoupling in Jiangsu,energy consumption is relatively high,the energy consumption structureneeds to be adjusted,and the ecological environment protection needs to be further strengthened.Secondly,the evaluation index system of green growth in Jiangsu was constructed.The paper summed up the index system at home and abroad to find their similarity,an evaluation index system of green growth in Jiangsu Province which contains five factors including driving,pressure,status,impact and response and 36 indicators was built combined with the DPSIR model.Then,the paper measured and evaluated the level of green growth in Jiangsu.Due to the green growth in Jiangsu is different on time and space,the improved entropy method was applied in this paper.The degree of green growth in Jiangsu from2005 to 2014 and the level of green growth in 13 cities from 2005 to 2013 were obtained.These studies make up for the lack of existing researches.The results showed that the green growth level of Jiangsu rises firstly and then fall in the waves;green growth level of Nanjing,Zhenjiang,Suzhou are higher,Yancheng,Huaian,Suqian are lower oppositely;green growth level of southern is higher than the central and northern regions.Finally,influencing factors of green growth were studied.Combing with the DPSIR model,green innovation,urbanization level,opening degree and environmental regulation were chosen as explanatory variables.Environmental regulation has a significant positive impact on the green growth of Jiangsu,green innovation ranked second;urbanization level has no significant negative influence on the green growth index of Jiangsu;opening degree has a significant positive effect on the green growth of Jiangsu,and has the least influence.
